We have one open position for a Software Engineer Intern. Your job will be to collaborate with the Tech team in the development of various parts of the insurance software, including the Backend, Frontend and API, with the goal of creating an online insurtech from scratch.

What will be your responsibilities?

• Implement practices, code style guides and testing standards, including peer reviews.

• Use creativity and innovation to design engineering patterns in scale, performance, security and usability.

• Demonstrate understanding of programming principles and object-oriented programming concepts.

• Tackle engineering challenges and document APIs.

What should you have?

Knowledge of:

• Java best practices and patterns.

• J2EE and Spring development.

• Java open source ecosystem and common libraries.

• Trends in mobile applications, including payments and wearable devices.

Languages

Being an international team our main working language is English so:

• Advanced or intermediate English with willingness to learn.

• Arabic is a plus.

• Spanish is a plus.
